Calvin goes to New Orleans!

Early in April, we went to New Orleans.

Calvin had a great time!

He got to see a lot of the city, taste new food, and hear lots of music.

And had an especially good time in the French Quarter.

Calvin played in the park that was right across the street from where Daddy used to live.

And he got to sit on the oldest oak tree in New Orleans.

Calvin helped us clean up, and even offered to do the dishes one night!

We went to the City Park,

And fed the ducks, who nibbled on Calvin's toes, much to his dismay!

The ducks liked his Cheerios, but they liked his toes even more!!!

There was a great playground there.

Calvin and Daddy had lots of fun exploring and playing.

Peek-a-boo!

Calvin got to experience his first Second Line.

Which is a funeral celebration, but seemed more like a moving party or parade. Everyone had a great time.

We walked behind the band for about five hours.

Calvin got to meet Ira and Shmula, some very good friends of Daddy's, during Second Line. Here they are with Shmula.

Yippie - Calvin loved New Orleans, and can't wait to go back!
