Calvin wears his helmet all the way to July, he likes it so much!

He can't wait until he can reach the pedals!



SUMMER


July was hot!

Calvin spent time relaxing and playing at the pool,

and in lakes.

Calvin spent his first night in a tent, and had a good time camping!


We spent a lot of time outside, and visited many playgrounds.

Calvin helped in our garden, and enjoyed the veggies immensely.

(We didn't grow the corn, but it was from nearby).

Aunt Anne lives close by at school now,
and Calvin likes spending more time with her.

May & June 2011

Calvin looks great in a hat,

and loves to wear Daddy's.

In May, Calvin went to a nearby farm.
He had fun running after the chickens that tried to take his snacks.
(They all got away).

Everyone had a great time playing farmer for the day.

Summer was off to a great start!

Calvin had his first bicycle ride,

and fell in love with it!

Happy Easter!

Calvin had a great Easter, but being the day after his birthday, was still on a somewhat of birthday kick.

He enjoyed playing with his balloons.

"Let's go for a ride!"

Faster, faster!

Vrooom!

Daddy put out some Easter eggs for Calvin to find.

He put cheerios inside of them for a prize, because even though he did have birthday cake, Mommy didn't want him to have a chocolate bunny.

He seemed to enjoy the snack anyway.

It was a fairly nice day outside, so Gee-Gee, Pop-Pop, Mommy, Daddy, and Calvin all went for a nice walk.

We went to the playground, and Calvin got to swing.

So did Mommy!

The slide was a lot of fun too, and Calvin loves to go fast.

"Who's going to catch me?"

Yippie!

We went home and had lunch outside on the deck.

It was a lot of fun to be outside.

And to spend more time with Gee-Gee and Pop-Pop!

Good day, sunshine!

After a nap, Calvin insisted on playing with his toys again, and got right into his new wagon.

Then he relaxed with Daddy on the sofa,

Until Daddy tried to eat him!!!

Maybe Pop-Pop will save him, he thought.

But he got his toes tickled instead!

What a great day!!!
